My Goals

In starting this running endeavor, my goal was just to lose weight. However, now that I have started running I want to become successful at it. I have set an overall goal for myself right now of running a 5k marathon. There is no time limit, although the wedding is pushing me a long at a speedy pace right about now.  I started out running one mile in 11min and 45sec with an extra 20lbs to lose. They may seem small but to me they are mountains and I am ready to move them. If you have any suggestions or training tips for when I get into the two-area please let me know! I’m always looking for help.

  1. Lose two pounds in a week just by running
  2. Run a mile in under 11 minutes  Completed on Track 2/8/12
  3. Run a mile in under 10 minutes Completed on Track  2/11/12
  4. Run a mile in under 9 minutes  Completed on Treadmill 2/19/12
  5. Run a mile in under 8 minutes 30 seconds Completed on Treadmill 2/19/12
  6. Run a mile in under 8 minutes
  7. Run a mile in under 7 min 30 seconds
  8. Run two miles in 20 minutes
  9. Run two miles in 16 minutes
  10. Run three miles in 30 minutes
  11. Run three miles in 25 minutes
  12. Run a 5k Marathon
  13. Run 5 miles in 50 minutes
  14. Run 5 miles in 40 minutes
  15. Run 10 miles in 1hr and a half
  16. Run 10 miles in 1 hr and 10 minutes
  17. Run a Half Marathon
